6 mas, 14 chitlins, 6 buggies, and 1 train...

Adventure was the name of the game!!! Today was our "playdate" and we weathered the storm. Us mama's decided to take our kids to the Church History Museum downtown rain or shine. It was a blast.

The most fun I will admit was getting on and off the TRAX train. We had so many strollers and all very little kids. Thank goodness for Alex!! He decided he'd rather come with us then sit home alone. We had some other "stranger angels" who helped us. Getting on the train was a hoot, but getting off was just plain comical.

Andrea and I were the first two off and we just start, literally, grabbin' and throwin' kids off before the train would close the doors and start moving. It was hilarious to watch. I bet the train conductor was peeved to high heaven. Those "stranger angels" laughed right along with us. I think all realized this was crazy and I would do it again in a heart beat.

Once everyone was accounted for we headed to the museum. There the
front desk ladies allowed the kids to touch replicas of the "Gold Plates." That was awesome. I didn't show it but I was about to cry. The experience was powerful to me. I think I really wanted to see and touch them more than the little ones.

We later went up to the "I am a Child of God" exhibit. It was hands on and the kids seems to really enjoy it. I hope the moms did too.

I am grateful for the wonderful things we have available to us here. If you want to come on our next outing keep and eye out on my facebook page for details. We will be going out next Thursday.
