Being tied up in my own worry for my children and school
I neglected my love of the "typed" word.
We have been seeing blessings flow right into our hearts and home here at the Armstrongs.
Many friends have just cornered us, to help us with anything.
My bestfriend kept Aiden for us, at the literal last minute, so we could focus on meeting with Alex's Dr.'s when we could not find anyone else who were in a position to help. She loves my kids like her own. And it doesn't hurt that they love her family also.
(She's getting our kids, if something were to happen to us....it's in the will)
Many people at David's work have just encircled us with love and support. Support that was so unexpected and so appreciated.
Alex orthodontist and the office assistant have even been a blessing to us. I must admit, I love going to Granger Orthodontics and talking with Stephanie and Dr. Taylor. They, don't know it, but one day I hope I can work there. I see them like friends. My heart is full of gratitude towards them.
And I recommend them highly. The office is brand new truly state of the art and they are so EXCELLENT with my boy, I know they will be with everyone else's.
Alex has been his own spokesperson. Educating anyone who asks him about his disorder. He's been passing out The Rubied Apple business cards to everyone, including his teachers, friends at school and even his principle.
I am so proud of him and inspired.
He is moving forward, toward getting his EAGLE before he turns 14!!
I can hardly believe it.
I see that I don't have any excuse for not being positive in anything.
If a 13 year old boy, with serious medical issues can see the rainbow and beauty in all things,
I with my many years of experience and good health should be able to see the sunshine and what a miracle it is.
He is a blessing to our home and heart.
Aiden is learning from all of this as well. He is understanding that family is support. Family is heart. Family is love & care.
We are forever. We will make it.
